Forward Kevin Prince-Boateng has expressed his delight after playing a key role to help his Besiktas side defeat Kasimpasa 3-2 in the Turkish Super Lig.
The Ghana international was in action for his team on Thursday when they hosted their Matchday 31 opponent at the Vodafone Arena.
Though he started the game on the substitute bench, he was introduced on the 37th minute to replace Gokhan Gonul at a time when his team was trailing 2-1 to their guest.
KP Boateng instantly added extra attacking threat to the Besiktas team and managed to score in the first 4 minutes of the second half to level the score for his team.
In the dying minutes of the match, Guven Yalcin registered his name on the scoresheet to ensure Besiktas run away with a crucial win in their quest to qualify for Europe next season.
In a Twitter post after the game, KP Boateng has applauded the team effort displayed in getting the result as he describes it as ‘great win’.
Having joined the Turkish side on loan from Fiorentina in January, the former AC Milan superstar has scored 3 goals and provided 1 assist after featuring in 10 games.
