Beefing’ is no new phenomenon in Ghana’s music industry. Right from the days of Obrafour and Lord Kenya, Chicago and Ex-Doe, Obrafour and Okyeame Kwame, Samini and Shatta Wale, Ghanaians have been served a taste of each music star having a go at another.
The reasons for the ‘beefing’ have been varied, none of which have been officially confirmed by the artistes involved. But music lovers have loved it anyway, every bit of it, including the insults that, unfortunately have followed such beefing.
This week facebook, twitter, and other social media outlets are bleeding with yet another beefing scandal involving two rap Stars- Sarkodie and M.anifest
One calls himself the King, the other, the ‘numero uno’ and both of them have released tracks- Kanta and godmc which have been trending on you tube.

The fans for both artistes have gone haywire in support of either Sarkodie or M.anifest.
What may have provoked these two great artistes to have a go at each other? Which of them is a better rapper and who wins this ‘beefing’ contest? And what does this do to the industry?
