During his campaign tour in the Ashanti Region, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, 2024 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party met with the clergy in Kumasi, where he laid out his ambitious vision for Ghana’s future.
Addressing the gathering, Bawumia emphasized his commitment to transforming Ghana into Africa’s premier digital hub.
“I will make Ghana a digital hub of Africa,” Bawumia declared. He highlighted the critical role of digitalization in creating job opportunities for the nation’s youth. “With digitalization, a lot of jobs will be created for the teeming unemployed youth,” he added.
He further stressed, since implementation of free senior high the total number of students by the end of 2016 was 8,000 now enrollment is 1.4 million students.
