Ghana midfielder Andre Ayew is expected to join his Swansea City teammates in the United States ahead of the side’s pre-season tour.
Ayew, 26, was given extra time off after representing his country during the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Ghana international underwent test at the club’s Landore training ground on Monday.
But he will now travel to the United States to join his teammate as they prepare for the new season.
The Swans will play two friendly games during the tour against United Soccer League sides Charlotte Independence on July 13 and Richmond Kickers July 16.
