“All of the 40,000 supporters that came to Brussels to help celebrate our Red Devils are amazing”, the Brussels-Ixelles police wrote on their Twitter account at around 3.30pm on Sunday.
Around 8,000 people celebrated Belgium getting third place in the World Cup on the Grand Place. The Red Devils got there at around 3pm.
Giant screens were set up at the Stock Exchange and on Place Albertine so everyone could watch the Red Devils celebrate Belgium’s highest ever position in a World Cup.
Before all that, the Devils visited the Royal residence in Laeken to meet the King and Queen. The team then drove through Brussels on an open-top bus.
